TrendWatcher (“we”, “us”) is a web and mobile app that surfaces trending topics and scores them for AI-application potential. Questions about this policy or your data: [email protected].

• Account information. When you create an account we store your email address and a securely hashed password — we never store your password in plain text. We also record whether your email is verified and when the account was created.
• Content you create. The ideas you star are saved to your account.
• Preferences. Your language choice (stored in a cookie) and, in the mobile app, your daily-digest notification setting. The notification and its schedule stay on your device.
• Authentication cookie. A signed session cookie (tw_session) keeps you signed in.
• Technical & log data. Like most services, our servers and hosting provider may log your IP address and basic request metadata to operate the service, prevent abuse, and enforce rate limits.

We do not use third-party analytics or behavioral-tracking SDKs.

The website may show ads through Google AdSense and the mobile app through Google AdMob. These Google services use cookies and device identifiers to serve and measure ads, including — where permitted — personalized ads. Google’s handling of advertising data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and its Advertising policies. You can control ad personalization in your Google account and device settings.

To create and secure your account, verify your email, deliver the idea feed and your saved ideas, remember your preferences, show ads, and protect the service from abuse.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the providers needed to run the app — hosting, our email-delivery provider (for verification and password-reset messages), and the Google ad networks above — and where required by law.

We keep your account data until you ask us to remove it. To delete your account and its associated data, email [email protected].

Passwords are hashed, session cookies are signed, and we rate-limit sign-in and email sending. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

TrendWatcher is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Your information may be processed on servers located outside your country.

We may update this policy from time to time; the “Effective” date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
